Tiffany Shinskie's Support Fund
Meet 33-year-old Tiffany Shinskie, local mother, daughter, friend and community member. Native to the area, Tiffany lives in Marion Heights, Pa with her two children, 12-year-old Karly and 8-year-old Conner, whom she devotes all her time and love. She is a 2003 graduate of Shamokin Area High School and currently works for Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa as a Client Service Representative in the Lab Medicine department.
On March 20, 2015, this young mother’s life changed as she was unexpectedly diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma breast cancer, with grade 3 – aggressive – cancer cells.
Exactly one month later, she endured a double mastectomy and received aggressive chemo treatments. Through her strength and perserverance, God's undying love and through the support from family and friends, TIFFANY BEAT THE BREAST CANCER!
However, just recently, the doctors found that the cancer metastasized to her thoracic spine, which caused her t7 to collapse. She has had surgery to fix her spine, but has been left in great pain and will again need to undergo cancer treatments.
Due to the pain, surgery, cancer treatments, follow-up appointments, etc. Tiffany has had to take a leave of absence from work to recover. This situation has left her financial situation tight.
As family and friends of Tiffany’s, we’re asking local community members to consider helping Tiffany with monetary donations during this difficult time.
