Robert Allen Hagberg completed his mortal mission on July 23rd, 2018. He was born November 2nd, 1969 in Berkeley, California. Robert was sworn in as a police officer on July 7, 1999 and took immense pride serving his community with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
His obvious love, dedication, service and commitment was felt by all those who had the honor of crossing his path. He was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and blessed countless lives as he faithfully and continuously served others.
He loved to play basketball with his boys, hunt, hike and travel with his family. He was fiercely loyal and protective of those he loved. The love shared between Robert and his wife was truly special and admired by all who were fortunate to see it. Their bond was an example to all.
Robert is survived by his eternal family; his wife, Rachel Gilmore Hagberg, and his children, Eli N. Hagberg, Cole J. Hagberg, Gabriel S. Hagberg and Weston H. Hagberg; his parents, Dennis & Mary Hagberg and sister, Denise Hagberg Smith and her husband, Brent Smith. He will be tremendously missed by countless members of his immediate and extended family, as well as close friends, “brothers,” and “sisters” whose lives he greatly impacted.
We are starting this as a Funeral fund and any leftovers will go towards helping Rachel and their boys. If you can help to donate in any way, we would greatly appreciate it.
