Hello Friend/Family/Colleagues...

Desperate times call for desperate measures. My sister and her hubby (my bro) have fallen on very rough times. If there was no such thing as bad luck, they would have no luck at all! Over the last several years, things just have not went well with them. I don't even know when it started, but I will just review the last couple years. Ron had been diagnosed with bladder cancer, which is usually a very fightable cancer, but unfortunately, he was not winning the battle, so a bladder removal surgery was required and in May of 2024, both bladder and prostrate were removed. Surgery was difficult, and Ron spent days in ICU, due to complications with his kidney and diabetes. In addition to the Ostomy for his bladder, his kidney was failing, and therefore he also required two nephrostomy tubes coming from the kidneys. Obviously, that made mobility pretty challenging, but he did finally make it home.. However.. since then, he has been in and out of the hospital several times battling infection, his diabetes and failures with the tubes. It's been horrible. They have a hospital bed at their home for him, and the costs for all of the supplies required are costly and making it extremely difficult meet their monthly obligations. Then...at the beginning of September, Teen had a horrible fall and broke her arm in 2 places.. The large bone in her arm, that has now been put back together with nuts and screws..but the surgeon has stated it's a life altering injury.. so now she is off work, and is staying with family with regular visits from physiotherapy and PSW. Both patients have many bills with little coverage, and the expenses are mounting. If you have know these two people, you know that they have always been there for EVERYONE in their life.. For everything and anything, they would be the first to stand up to offer help. Now they need us. Your support/donation will help cover living and medical expenses that are quickly becoming unsurmountable. Life has thrown many, many curve balls at them and has eaten up their savings.
