Hi, my name is Shanice I’m a registered nurse from the UK and I'm working with Glorious Nursery and Primary School to fundraise in order to build a better learning environment for their students.
Glorious is seeking your help in constructing new spacious and improved classrooms.
I have been working closely with Glorious school for 5 years.
During these 5 years, the owners, teacher and students have become family.
The school is a safe haven for many in the small community.
The school opened its doors to the community in 2012 to help parents, focusing on single parents that were struggling with school tuitions for their children by offering half bursaries for education and boarding among others.
The population of the school has grown and continues to grow. This is largely due to the amazing teachers and owners that breathe love into their students everyday.
The school is one huge family. I have spent time working with many schools in Uganda and have not experienced anything just like this.
We wish to construct new and improved classrooms, far better than the existing ones which are outdated, depilated and small and hardly managing to accommodate the growing numbers.
We wish to have a main library within the same structure as it is essential in the students' learning giving them a wide range of study material.
Your generous donations will not only help the children learn in a spacious, clean and happy environment but also open more doors to the community in-terms of getting more children into education.
