Hey, my name is Nicole, and I live in Tucson, Arizona. I’m a trans woman, and I’m asking for help covering my past-due electric bill and one month of rent so I can get back on my feet and avoid becoming homeless. My electric bill is $935.70, my rent is $645.00, and my total goal is $1,580.70.

Tucson Electric shut off my electricity in February, and living without power has been extremely difficult, especially while trying to work from home creating onlyfans content. Without electricity, it is hard to make new content to sell, which makes catching up financially even harder. The Tucson heat is intense, and without AC it is affecting my mental health and wellbeing.

Even my medications are expensive, and I was struggling to afford them this week. I have reached out to the Salvation Army, Pima Community Action, and Interfaith Community Services. I have spent hours on hold trying to ask about assistance, only to be told they do not have any appointments available.

If you know of resources or if the City of Tucson has other programs to help, please let me know. This has been so overwhelming, I feel defeated, and like I am never going to find help. I am feeling desperate.
