My son, Mason, just recently turned 5 years old.  He was born with three different heart defects and has already had to have 3 open heart surgeries, the first when he was six days old.  On July 2nd, he was admitted to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville with congestive heart failure, and subsequent testing showed he had lost approximately 50% of his heart function, he is still currently in the hospital as they attempt to stabilize him enough to go home, and his mother and I are both staying with him.  I have  recently started a new job and have no sick time to use while away from work.  While my employer has been very understanding about needing to miss, I could use some help meeting monthly expenses, which is why I have created this account.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
