My Mum, my hero!

Sad Update- mum was doing really well with her recovery for her recent surgery for her Achilles Rupture. Unfortunately over the weekend she developed a nasty infection with cellulitis. She is just devastated, as she had been given the all clear to return to work in suitable duties this week. She was excited to get back to some ‘normality’. Now, we are unsure what might happen. Best case is that the antibiotics work quickly,

But there is a real possibility that she may end up back in surgery. The next couple of days will tell. For now she is on bed rest. Please keep my mum in your thoughts and prayers. She is really low. ♥️

My mum will probably be mad at me for setting this up. But I want her to be able to recover and rest without stressing about no money coming in.

You all know my Ma always helps others whenever they need anything, sometimes even when she really can’t afford it. I know she has helped people to the tune of literally thousands of dollars, she buys groceries, medicines, toys, coffee vouchers well basically anything she can to try to make life easier for others.

Ma has had so many sad challenges in her life, losing her own mum and sister to cancer, then my Dad getting sick and battling for 5 years with lymphoma and passing in 2016. We lost Grandma just a couple years ago, and her brother a couple years ago too!

Since my Dad passed away, mumma has had some awful health issues develop, anxiety and depression, sleep apnea, losing her voice, fibromyalgia to name a few battles. She always stays strong and loving, even though I see her quietly crying when no one sees.

Last year she broke her back in the ‘plover’ incident and is still recovering from that.

She has been so brave, I’m so proud of my beautiful, courageous Ma.

Now, through no fault of her own she is not being paid. But she still has bills and medical bills and medications to buy.

My mum would never ask, because she’s too proud, but if you could help it would mean the world to me. I could then just have my beautiful Ma concentrate on getting better.
