Stop Bob's big C

This year, just a few weeks after his 50th birthday, my best friend and my son's father Bob Fernau was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer . Needless to say, the news was utterly shocking to our family. Bob is a single father and supports our son (who hopes to go college after next year) by being a self-employed carpenter, building homes around our community in southwest Michigan. I am always in awe of the amazing work he's done so that people can have a beautiful place to live. But his work is extremely physical and tends to be seasonal.  Unfortunately, this busy summer season is when Bob will be unable to work as he is facing invasive surgery as well as continued chemotherapy. No work means no income for several months. With this gofundme campaign, I'm hoping that you might help us to raise some money to lessen Bob's financial worries for the next few months .
