Help Hannah get a service dog

I’m Hannah and my brain works a little differently. I’ve struggled with my mental health my whole life: depression, anxiety, you name it. I’ve always just pushed it down and tried to power through, but I’ve reached a point in my life where that’s no longer possible. I have a generalized anxiety disorder and a sensory processing disorder, and am planning to see a psychologist for further diagnosis. These things impact my life on a daily basis.
Public places are very difficult for me due to all the noise and visual stimulation that come with them. Even just going to the grocery store for 30mins is draining and sometimes takes an hour to recover from, let alone a whole day out doing things. I have panic attacks/meltdowns when I get overstimulated which makes it very hard to get through the day.
After talking to my therapist and doctor, I’ve discovered a psychiatric service dog would make a great impact in my daily life and help me cope. It would also provide me with independence, as I currently rely heavily on my husband to support me and help me calm down/regulate my emotions. Some things my dog would help me with are:

It would also provide me with independence, as I currently rely heavily on my husband to support me and help me calm down/regulate my emotions. Some things my dog would help me with are:
- Providing DPT (deep pressure therapy) when I’m having a panic attack/meltdown
- Finding an exit if I am overstimulated in public and need to find a safe space to calm down
- Providing crowd control to manage my claustrophobia in busy places
A service dog requires extensive training, and needs to be trained to support my specific needs. This comes with a heavy price tag, which is why I am reaching out to all of you.
The total cost to train and obtain my service dog is $20,000. Any help is appreciated, whether it be through prayer, monetary, or sharing the link. All donations will go directly to paying for my dog.
