My name is Randy. I am semi-retired and work for a local security company. I have become a good friend to the regional manager who oversees our site. I would Like to introduce you to the Chris and Samantha. During the past few years, Chris and I have become friends. He and his wife have three young children. This photo was taken prior to the recurrence of Samantha's recent Illness.

During our relationship, his wife developed a recurrence of a rare form of cancer. Over the past year, she has undergone treatments, but the cancer is very aggressive and has become resistant to treatment. The hospitals here have no further treatment options for her that will help arrest the cancer or lead to remission. They have found treatment centers in the Midwest that offer alternative treatments and are closer to her extended family.

Chris has found employment in the region and has taken a position, and now faces the task of finding somewhere to live and moving his family there so his wife can resume her fight for life and a chance to see her family grow up.

This transition was unplanned, and this move and everything associated with it has put a tremendous amount of pressure on everyone. As of this writing, he has found housing and has reported for his new work, but had to leave his young family behind. He now faces the task of coming back for them to move them and their belongings to their new home. The major complication I just learned about is that he will not have an income stream for over 60 days.

I am humbly asking those of us that are able to help this young family through this transition so they can all be together and his wife can find the treatment she is looking for.
