My father moved to this country to provide for his family. After he was diagnosed with cancer, I was able to move here to support him in return. This hardworking, kind man and father has lost his battle with cancer after 4 years. He fought until the very end. He lived life with passion and embraced all those around him. He took pride in his work at PJ Clarke’s, Rosa Mexicano and other many jobs and considered the people there like a second family. He is survived by his two sons, his daughter, and his wife. Instead of sending flowers, my dad wanted donations to help his family with funeral costs, and to make a donation in his name to St. Jude’s Hospital. So more people especially kids can get more cancer treatments. UPDATE: THERE WILL BE A VIEWING HELD AT ORTIZ FUNERAL HOME SUNDAY OCTOBER 11 FROM 5-8pm. PLEASE WEAR A MASK AND BRING AN UMBRELLA IF IT RAINS.
