Hi guys my name is Jeremy and im reaching out for help for my 6 year old sharpie/ cocker spaniel mix. His name is chunk and he is the sweetest dog you will ever come across. Unfortunately him being half cocker spaniel and prone to infections he suffers with a chronic ear infection in his right ear. Me and my girlfriend have collectively spent thousands of dollars on vet visits , allergy shots, medication, antibiotics, steroids, cones, donuts, weve tried everything. Purple stuff, apple cider vinegar, drops and medicated ear wash from the vet. Nothing I have done has been able to stop this completely. It keeps coming back and it has truly been a nightmare. After a month of steroids and antibiotics the vet wanted another $500 to evaluate him and refill his medications. They told me he needs surgery and there’s nothing they can do. Unable to afford that I switched his food and still no luck . The surgery costs anywhere from 2500-3000. We have a 1 year old and even during the process of becoming new parents we have still tried so hard to help him and that is exactly why I am here reaching out to see if anyone can donate towards vet bills or his surgery if needed.. Ive reached out to countless rescues, no one can help. I am lost and I can’t bear the thought of giving him up. This dog has been with me at my lowest times and I don’t want to give up on him. He was my baby before our actual baby and I’m desperate for help from anyone willing to give it. Anything helps. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
