Team Brooklyn EA/TEF

Brooklyn was born with a birth defect called ea/tef, this birth defect has other underlying issues that deal with respiratory and feeding. Brooklyn also has tracheomalicia which is an airway birth defect (his airway is floppy). When Brooklyn's airway collapses it causes him to stop breathing and he turns blue & has to be revived (these are called dying spells or blue spells). Boston Childrens Hospital has a program specifically for children born with these issues and . The insurance company has approved to pay for his care in Boston...... 

I want to thank everyone that has made contributions towards Brooklyn's transport to Boston. Things have been very heckted... Brooklyn just recently had to be intubated and sedated bc he was air hungry and wasn't getting enough oxygen. Today I got news that the insurance has approved everything for Brooklyn to be transported to Boston. He will be going either tomorrow or Thursday.... They told me to at least be prepared to stay for a month. As some of you all may know I had to let go of my job, the responsibility was too great especially with trying to find balance with taking care of a child with medical conditions and making sure I was seeking adequate care for my child. Although Brooklyn is hospitalized... I am very involved and aware with his care. With that being said: I greatly appreciate everyone's ncontributions...this is most definitely has been a life changing experience. I'm going to leave the gofundme for those who are still caring and willing enough to help us as we proceed to travel up north for Brooklyn to get the medical care that he needs.
