This is on behalf of my Uncle, Brian Croft who is from Phoenixville, PA but lives in Watertown, NY working as a civilian on the Fort Drum military base (retired veteran, he served for 15 years including deployment in Afghanistan in 2001-02). His second income, and retirement plan, was his bar which wasn't doing so well but on an upswing.
The roof literally blew off of the building and into the street this week rendering the building uninhabitable. Some recent family illnesses and financial hardships led to a lapse in the insurance policy prior to the storm.
If he can raise enough money then he can salvage what is left of the building, otherwise it will be demolished. Even if we don't make the deadline for demolition, any amount of money will help possibly rebuild the structure and get the business back on track.
At the very least the financial assistance will help with bills that will begin piling up with two small children and a loss of needed income in the coming months.
Here is a link to the story. Brian tends to have terrible luck, you guys could really help turn it around.
“If I had more time, maybe I could figure out what I should of, would of and could of done,” he said. “It’s overwhelming. I’m lacking time and money.”
