As a breast cancer survivor I know first-hand how important the support of family and friends is to your survival as you battle this disease. Without those who cared for me and provided for my needs I wouldn’t be here today.
I want to give to others who may not have the same network of support in my native home of the Philippines. Each year I travel back home to bring supplies and educational opportunities to women who are diagnosed as well as increase awareness for all women. Early detection is the key to survival.
Im reaching out to my network of friends and colleagues hoping you will join me in providing some comfort to those who are both breast cancer patients and victims of high risk living environments.
Please know every penny donated will go directly to providing material goods and education. I pay all my own personal expenses from my own funds.
This is an ongoing effort but this year Im leaving for the Philippines in November. Any donations which come in before will go directly to items we purchase both here in the US and also there. Any donations after will be for the next trip.
This is not something I’ve ever done before; ask for financial help for something which is very personal to me. But I know Im lucky and part of my way to pay back those who helped me is to give of my time and treasure. Thank you so very much for your help and always for your prayers and good intentions.
