Hi friends, I'm Kate. I live with my little family in Idaho.

This past year I've suffered from concussion, Covid, and Influenza. 2 weeks ago my grandmother and best friend passed away, and Influenza returned to my home this last week.

In between these events, my kids and I have had regular viruses. I have been stuck in family court as well, I'm nearly to the end of Year 7, and I can't find legal representation.

There have been other hair-pulling but private events too.

The upside down cake to all of this is that I've missed a lot of work since October 2021. I can't pay all my bills and because of illnesses, I haven't been able to add other jobs to my plate like door dashing.

I plan on creating a patreon page for long term (I write and edit!) and for shorter term, I'm asking for help from the larger community.

Donations will go towards groceries, gas, phone bills, perhaps legal fees - basic household maintenance costs for a mom stuck in court and trying to get through each day with healthy kids despite life dominoes continually falling all over them.
