The Jay (Jeff) Hart Stroke Fund

It has been a very rough year for my dear friend Jay (Jeff) Hart. Colleen is typing. First his Dr misdiagnosed him. He was having these headaches that lasted from April 2016 to October 6, 2016. I  even went with him to his appointments to speak for him  he was telling this Dr over and over how these headaches are debilitating and are so severe He considered ending my life. This Dr after seeing him 4 times concluded that it was nothing but  allergies and gave him
Flonase and said there was nothing else he could do. Jay told him his history of TIA's and Seizures and still he ordered no additional blood work or brain scans. On October 6, 2016  I received a call from Sharp Memorial and was told  Jay had a full on stroke at 48 years old. This stroke has rendered him completely disabled and unable to work. The Stroke affected his right leg which He must have my cane to keep balance due to always being very dizzy. Also his right  hand is very week and unable to write or tie shoes or buckle a belt or even hold a fork or toothbrush. The worst for Jay though is his speech and memory. It is very difficult to understand his speech and he is quite embarrassed how he sounds. He was trying to give an Uber driver directions one day and he became so aggravated that the driver ended the trip early and said to him "this trips over, get another driver Retard"! He was left there and was lost and alone and couldn't figure out how to get home.   He can't read or write or remember how to do the simplest things.
The Neurologist says this could have been avoidable if simple things were put into place. He has  applied for disability and it looks like his claim is going to be expedited but it could still take 3months even if expidited.  As most of you know Jay's parents are passed and he has no other syblings that he Acknowledgea.  All and all he for the most part has no family out west and a very select few family members back in the Midwest.   His pride prevents him from asking anyone for assistance and he doesn't know about this or he would say no. He is averaging $2200-$2500 in monthly bills with zero income until disability kicks in. He had savings but it was depleted during the months Hewas unable to work due to the severe headaches and TIA's.
If He can only get through the next 3 months. He currently is $815 short on Dec rent. If there is anyone out
There that can help you would be answering my prayers for Jay prayers. If anyone knows him well
enough then you know the kind , generous, loving and loyal person Jay is and I'm happy to call him
friend. Anything will help him and God Bless you all.
