Support Katie’s Fight Against Breast Cancer!

I am raising funds to help my friend Katie Kobos in her fight against Breast Cancer.

Katie is a single mom of a beautiful 6 year old daughter. Katie was diagnosed in 2023 with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. Being the warrior she is, Katie fought hard undergoing chemo radiation and a double mastectomy all while raising her daughter.

After a period of remission the cancer has returned as of January this year and progressed to Stage 4.

This time the cancer has metastisized to Katie’s brain with the finding of 3 tumors. Anyone who knows Katie knows the fight is far from over though!

The funds we are trying to raise will go toward the cost of ongoing treatments as well as travel to and from Boston so she can be seen by the experts at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (which is not covered by her insurance). Living in a very rural area, Katie’s local oncologist is limited in what treatments can be provided. Katie is seeking aggressive treatments to give her a fighting chance for a long life with her baby girl.
