Breast cancer treatment

Felica’s journey began in July, 2019 when she noticed a small lump on her right breast.
After a few months of thinking it was nothing
more than a cyst, the lump began to be
painful to touch and moving. 

Felica went to the doctor early November  
where she was told to get an ultrasound done-so they could get a closer look. The
ultrasound technicians could not find
anything. They immediately sent her to get a mammogram.  

On Thursday, November 14th our whole     
world was shook as doctors confirmed our
worst fear,Felica, 29,  was diagnosed with
stage two Brest cancer. On Friday, November 15th felica had an MRI done where they
found another lump on her left Breast and 
explained that her lump in the right breast was4cm wide and 2cm deep. 

Tuesday, November 19th Felica had an
appointment with her surgeon where we
received an overwhelming amount of
information on they months and years Yet to
come. Felica has an amazing team of doctors working with her who has decided after
going through her file and considering her
age, her stage of cancer, and her tumor type, Felica would benefit most from starting with chemo, and radiation and lastly, surgery. 

Felica had a meeting Wednesday, November 20th with her fertility doctor. Because chemo is very intense and Felica is very young and    wants more children in her future, the best     thing Felica can do is freeze her eggs for that to even be a possibility later on. Her team of doctors are wanting to get chemo going in
the next two to three weeks to shrink her
tumor therefore she needs to go through
with freezing her eggs ASAP. 

Felicas insurance covers a lot, thankfully.
However, freezing her eggs is something that cannot be covered. Felica has always
dreamed of having more children. The
thought of that not even being a possibility in her future is heartbreaking especially on top of her fighting for her life and preparing for
the months and years of treatment she will
have ahead of her is a lot of heartache. 

I am making this so my sister can have a
chance may having more children after she
fights this battle. I also will do updates on
here of her journey so everyone can stay
posted during this process. We know she is inGods hands and she is a fighter and is
determined to have this all be a mer blimp in her life long story. We appreciate all the help and prayers we can get. Every little bit helps.
