This is precious Lucy. She is a 3-year-old, 20 lb. mini golden doodle.

On Saturday, February 22, Lucy was viciously attacked by a much larger dog in her neighborhood dog park. She had to undergo emergency treatment and surgery at Carolina Vet Critical Care until 2 a.m. this past Saturday. On Wednesday she had to go in for a second surgery. She’s had multiple follow-up veterinary visits and is currently on six different medications. Unfortunately, the vet said she is not out of the woods yet.

There has been a great outpouring of support from the local community requesting that a GoFundMe page be set up in Lucy’s name to assist in covering some of her medical expenses. Any help is greatly appreciated.
