Hello friends,
As many of you already know, I have been battling infections and bone degeneration issues in my left foot and leg for almost three years. In July, after 9 hospitalizations, 7 surgeries and 5 bouts of sepsis, I finally had to accept that I couldn't save them, and I had no choice but to have my leg amputated below my knee.
While this may seem like a great setback, I’m actually looking forward to getting a new leg to replace the one that had robbed me of opportunities to enjoy life for the last 33 months.
To get around at home, though — initially in a wheelchair and eventually on a prosthetic leg — I needed to make major modifications to my living space. Additionally, while preparing my house, I had to seek alternative housing. The medical bills, costs of modifying my home, and expenses of temporary living arrangements have become overwhelming, especially when I’ve been out of work since November.
I am reaching out to ask if you might consider helping me offset these growing costs. Any contribution would be deeply appreciated.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your support.
