{First of all I'm trying to keep this a secret! I'm hoping to be able to surprise my dad by presenting him with this as well as a few other gifts at his Christmas concert on December 17. And here's the story...
My dad was hit head-on by a drunk driver on the morning of October 13th on his way to school. Luckily he only came out with mostly cuts, bumps, and bruises... his truck however was not so fortunate. The S-10, just shy of 20 years old, is totaled.
I know he has already felt overwhelmed with all of the kind words, prayers, & posts on Facebook but I think this would be an amazing way to show him how much he's appreciated.
I have witnessed my parents go the extra mile for their students my whole life. I would love for us all to return the favor & do something above & beyond for them.
