Family and Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to consider making a donation to Joshua's memorial fund.
Josh went home on Friday to be with the Lord and walk and run like the true athlete he was!
For those of you that know Josh, he had a smile for everyone and could fill a room with his enthusiasm, his laughter, and his infectious personality. He loved the Lakers and the Angels; at times, he told us that he wished Kobe Bryant was his dad!!!
Josh grew up in San Dimas and later Upland. He attended Calvary Baptist School and made many life-long friends; he was baptized by Pastor Lincoln Dial at Calvary and truly enjoyed his church family, Calvary was his second home. Later, Josh attended Upland High School and had a chance to explore high school life. The students were so accepting and kind to Josh. Everywhere he went he made friends and said hello to everyone.
He was so close to his cousins and friends. They spent so much time together, at family game night's, at the movies, or just hanging out at taco night.
Aside from sports, Josh loved music and especially loved to sing! His iPod play list included artists from the Beatles, to Sinatra, to Ludacris, and then back to his favorite country tune! Recently, he enrolled at Music and Art's Center in Alta Loma to start singing lessons. He recently recorded his version of the pop hit by Jason Mraz, "I'm Yours."
Just a few days ago, Josh reached Gold Status with the Starbucks reward program! He was so excited that he called all of us to share the good news!
There is so much we could say about Josh, and we are so happy to all have so many great memories of him. We hope that you will join us for his services, information below. Thank you for anything that you are able to do to help with the memorial costs, we truly appreciate your generosity, kindness, and the time you took to read this!
Josh is survived by his mom, Wendy Hyer, sister, Mikayla Padden, grandmother, Barbara Jones, grandfather, Kevin Jones, Aunt's Jeni Dorsey, Jennifer Palmer, and Ann Martin, and cousins, Lexis, Jeremy, Donald, Madison, Kevin, Wyatt, Derick, and Parker.
