My baby sister Ariana is going to college!! She accepted attending UCLA! She will be studying Molecular Biology and Genetics and wants to do research to help others! It has been such a Blessing watching my hardworking, kind-hearted, & talented sister accomplish so much in high school!

She was accepted to a Math & Science Academy for High School and has always worked hard in her Honor's classes & successfully completed several AP courses/exams! She is consistently studying & loves learning, helping her land in the top percentile for scores and is a determined student filled with resilience!

We are also both first-generation college students from Chicago! While I was the first in my family to get a college degree, I took out many loans and struggled every quarter to pay for tuition.

I would be beyond Grateful if my sister did not have to take out as many loans as me! I wish this for all students as well, to get an amazing education without worrying about high educational costs every year!

For UCLA: her estimated tuition EVERY YEAR is $83,000!!!

My parents do not have a lot, but my mom was able to save up some money for my sister's college costs, and I will also help her pay for her tuition costs as much as we can every year. We are also planning to move my family to Los Angeles from Chicago and are asking for any donation help with moving costs, apartment costs instead of expensive dorms, and any books & supplies additional educational costs to help us get started!

It is a Blessing for her to attend a top ranked school! If you are able to, Please share and/or help my sister afford to go to UCLA to pursue her educational dreams! Anything helps and even $5-10 goes a long way =) Thank you all so much!!

I can't wait to spend time in the botanical gardens with friends and spend time in the lab so I can work towards becoming a scientist and developing medicines.
