Another ANGEL gone too soon.

Yesterday, Nikki Stockton and Carlos Zayas had a doctor’s appointment for their baby. They got the most heartbreaking news, the doctor would not find a heartbeat after trying multiple times with no results they were sent to the hospital immediately for another ultrasound, hoping it was a machine error. Unfortunately the first ultrasound was correct, no heartbeat was confirmed. That same night, Nikki was induced. This morning, April 1, 2016 at 5:49 am baby Angel Ezekiel Zayas was born at 15 weeks and 5 days, four inches in length and weighing .6 oz. Under these circumstances these young parents came up with the perfect name for their beautiful baby boy, Angel.
This young couple have been placed in a very difficult situation. Carlos has less than a year at his current employment, he has no sick time or bereavement time. Nikki just started working at a new company a few month ago, she also has no sick time or bereavement time. Nikki needs time to heal and will need a few weeks off work, with no savings Nikki will not be able to take the time she needs to fully recuperate, Carlos will also need to be by her side during this difficult time to help. Donations from friends and family will give the opportunity to take this time off work and mourn the loss of their baby Angel. Any amount of donations will help.
