Who is Tatyana? She's an amazing young beautiful woman. Strong, smart, a fighter and a lover. She will stand by your side and make you smile, she will hold your hands and wipe your tears, she is a problem solver, she will give you the shirt off her back, she loved all living things, she would feed animals before herself. She is 1 of a kind and I'm proud to be her mother. For those that don't know me im Margo Abouzeid, my parents may they rest in peace were first generation Christian Lebanese who came to build a better life for their family. I'm a divorced single mother of 2 amazing children, Taty & Alex are my pride. I worked hard to raise and teach my kids to love all, never judge and to give. I taught them to work hard wanted them to know that you can't ask or expect things from others and taught them to do for themselves but to help others.
I became disabled few years back due to health complications. It was hard for me to lose my independence or even ask for help. Pride can be a weakness. I learned there's no shame in reaching out to your family, neighbor, and community. This tragedy has opened my eyes and i am humbled and so grateful for all of you.
My daughter is such a kind soul, she's selfless, strong and a fighter. At a young age she suffered from scoliosis, a degenerative hip, which stopped her from playing the sports she loved. She began to suffer from HS being in stage 3 it made it so hard for her but she kept going and nothing was going to stop her. She then got diagnosed with bertolotti syndrome and then lupus. She suffered so much and dealt with depression but even after all that she was still fighting and was so loving and wanted to show that she could be strong and her health would not limit her. She wanted to mentor others going thru the same fight that their health won't define them. She wanted to educate people to understand being sick isn't always visible and teach them compassion. This tragedy isn't wished upon anyone but I can help but say why my baby? Life isn't fair.. Why does she have to go thru this? I guess God has a plan for her and we will all witness it. I want to share with you what has become of your kindness and generosity.

The first 35k went to air lift my daughter home. The remaining funds will help take care of her finances, rent, bills, car and her lovely dog jazzy. This will be a long hard road to recover but we aren't alone thanks to you all.
I can't stop thinking. I'm trying to find solutions, "i need to fix it and make it better." As any parent I believe we all would want to. I just need to make sure she will be OK once I'm gone from this world. My goal is to get her healthy and standing tall even if she is an double amputate she will stand tall and will be independent again and I'll do my best to help guide her. I can't thank you all enough for helping me helping her along and not giving up to achieve that goal.
She will need a handicap accessible home, bed, wheelchair, a reliable vehicle that is modified to her needs.. I'm overwhelmed thinking about everything and I might be thinking too far ahead but that's just how I am. A worried mother and that's what's going to give me the strength. I pray to God that he can give me the strength and health to be there every step of the way.. I know we all know we are not promised tomorrow but we're here today. If there's 1 thing I can ask of you all is please tell your loved ones you're there and love them daily, even if you're busy take that min to say i love you and show them your availabile. Again thank you all and know that your kind words means so much to me and my family.

Update 3/26/23
Today has been a roller-coaster. 8am we get the news that she got accepted and a bed at BID Boston and that I'm allowed to fly with her and it's a 2hr flight. 9am I'm told by the med flight company that they were not given all requirements for her care and they aren't sure if they can accommodate. 9.30am she's all set only thing is I can't fly with her. So I book a flight 10.30 I'm told the flight team must reschedule for Monday morning because their medical staff can't work that many hours in a day. New plan for her to fly out Monday morning. I was told to keep my flight so I can receive her in Boston and her dad can stay with her until she flies out. 5pm I arrive at Denver and when I call to check in I'm told they can't fly her out until Tuesday so she lost her bed. I run to catch the only and last plane back to kearney and I was being told I couldn't until the pilot seen how distraught I was and helped me. It's 10pm and I'm here with my baby where I belong. Her heart rate is a little high and her temp is high. I only wish to bring her home. It's so unfair that she's fighting to live and get help yet every step forward seems we take 2 or 3 back. Enough is enough work with us not against us. Please lord heal my baby for you are the only one that can give her strength. ❤️

Update 3.25.23 10pm
Thanks to all of your kindness, donations, sharing & prayers we have signed a med flight! Now we are just waiting for the hospital to confirm they have a bed. Please pray with us to keep her strong. She's in need of surgery and waiting is not an option. Signs of infections are arising so we must move fast. Hopefully we will land in Boston on Monday no later than Tuesday.
Once we get to Boston I will be relieved but the real challenges will begin. I have faith in our Healthcare and know she will be in good hands for the 2nd part of her recovery.
Sending love and gratitude to you all

Love
Margo

My name is Margo and I'm reaching out to the community to help bring my daughter home. Tatyana is a kind loving 26yr old young woman. She was accompanying her best friend London from Boston to California to help him move. She wanted to protect him from driving alone, she's a very selfless soul and wants to help everyone. For those who do not know my daughter. She is one of the most amazing people you could meet. Not only because she is my daughter, but because she's changed soo many lives just by being there for people. She's a beautiful soul, with the biggest heart in the world. She puts everyone before herself and she has the most amazing personality and we hope everyone could get the opportunity to meet this incredible young lady.

On Sunday, March 19th, their road trip became a nightmare. While driving on Rte 80 in Nebraska, a vehicle was swerving uncontrollably and hit and ran into their car. This accident almost took her life. The car they were traveling in was hit on the front passenger side, which caused their vehicle to be airborne and flipped over 15 times. Tatyana was ejected from the vehicle and run over by a semi-tractor trailer on her lower extremities.

We thank the lord that we have her with us today. The hospital was not sure that she would survive. She sustained life-threatening injuries, a skull fracture, she lost a huge amount of blood, a broken pelvis and multiple bone fractures. They had to amputate the right leg and are trying to do everything to save the left leg.

At this time, we are in desperate need to get her med lifted and have a time limit. We need to get her home soon so she can get better and have the greatest recovery. She needs to be transported with the ventilator and we only have 1 week to make this possible. She needs multiple surgeries and the doctors want her to work with a team of physicians that will be able to watch her from start to finish.

This will be a long road and it will take months or even years for recovery. We would really ask that you please keep her in your prayers and if you're able to contribute anything, we would truly appreciate the support.

Our family thanks you.
