We really don't have any true updates, doctors have Ashley on many, many meds trying to get her stomach to cooperate with her brain and absorb the nutrients it's lacked for so long. She'll have to re-learn how to eat, and swallow again. But with the Stomach tube and new meds it's looking better each day!

Hi, My name is Ashley, founder of Musante Mountain Animal Rescue.

I'm fundraising for help for my family during this difficult time. In March I had a minor surgery that led to a major blood clot in my head that changed our lives in ways we could not imagine. I have been fighting for my life since. Feeling like a true burden on my family and friends with bills stacking up and Rescue duties being divided up between the kids and close friends.

We now owe over 1,000 in SCE, as well as 1200 in Water bills, and the feed barn is empty. My husband has stayed by my side as much as possible as I have not been myself and not able to make important decisions nor remember what is really going on. I can see the stress in his face and knowing it's because of me breaks me.

I am making this go fund me out of desperation to keep our power and water on, and to make my families lives just a tad easier, as we still have no answers and do not know when I will be able to return home. Any extra will go towards our Rescue, and it's ever growing feed bill,along with upcoming spays and neuters.
