I have a dear friend with a real need. First let me say this was very hard for MICHELLE PATOPEA TROTT to let me do this. She is usually raising money for some good cause, primarily folks in Haiti, through her church. She has given so much of herself to others. Now she is needy.
10 Years ago Michelle contracted Lyme Disease. It was undiagnosed for 5 years and they were just treating the symptoms. She was properly diagnosed in 2014 but even with treatment she still suffers from fatigue, muscle weakness, wide spread inflammation and soreness, anxiety, foggy brain and depression. Michelle has been self employed in the computer repair business but that has not proven enough income to support herself. Because of the Lyme Disease she was struggling to make ends meet. She wasn't able to to keep full time hours. She has applied for Social Security Disability but it has not
yet been approved.
For a few months Michelle has had severe shoulder and arm pain. She has torn 4 tendons, torn rotator cuff and bone spur in one shoulder and the same plus a separation in the other. This causes her extreme pain daily. She is unable to do most daily tasks. She is undergoing surgery on one shoulder Tuesday, Jan 8, 2019 in Seaside and the other surgery later. She may not be able to keep her computer business going for awhile because of the surgeries plus the Lyme Disease.
I'm asking for rent, utilities, food and car insurance for 2 months for Hopefully her disability insurance will come through by then.
