This is a simple request to crowdfund an emergency situation for me.

I was basically unemployed for a year and only started receiving a regular full-time paycheck last month.

Recently, I was served with a 14-day letter, which is my landlord’s indication that he is starting eviction proceedings, even though I have promised to pay $800 every two weeks for the foreseeable future (which is above my rent cost).

I have two jobs, but the pay still isn’t high enough to help me climb faster out of the hole. I owe almost $6k in back rent.

I am a single mother who does not receive child support. I am currently receiving SNAP benefits, which is how I pay for almost all the food we eat. This will end probably in a matter of weeks because I now make too much money to qualify.

I am asking for help. I owe almost $6k. If I can show my landlord I’m paying something, I think he will stop the proceedings.
