Support Baby Jedidiah & the Samaniego Family

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of Alexus and Matthew Samaniego, two of the kindest, most selfless people I’ve had the privilege of knowing. They’d never ask for help, but I know that taking even a little of this stress off their shoulders would mean the world right now.

On February 8, 2025, at 5:36 AM, Alexus and Matthew welcomed their first baby, Jedidiah Amos Samaniego, into the world three months before his due date. At just over 2 lbs and 14 inches long, little Jedi is already proving to be a fighter.

Baby Jedidiah’s early arrival was unexpected, but it was a miracle they got to the hospital in time. Alexus had a gut feeling that something was wrong and acted on it, a decision that may have saved their son’s life. Now, he’s in the NICU, fighting to grow stronger each day.

Alexus and Matthew are right where they need to be by Jedi’s side. He will remain in NICU until his original due date of May 14th at least. Without maternity or paternity leave, I know there’s a lot on their minds. My hope is that we can come together to give them some peace of mind so they can focus on what truly matters.
