Vanessa is the heart of our family. She is such a kind, caring, and loving soul who lights up every room she walks into. She’s one of those rare people who touches your heart the very first time you meet her. She has a welcoming, positive, and supportive spirit that makes everyone feel safe, valued, and at ease.

This year was meant to be a new chapter of joy for Vanessa. She recently got married and purchased her first home, milestones she had dreamed of and worked so hard to achieve. She was stepping into one of the happiest seasons of her life before illness turned everything upside down.

Now, she is facing the fight of her life with stage 4 lung cancer.

Back in May, Vanessa was hospitalized multiple times with pneumonia. After months of tests and hospital stays, we received the life-changing news that her cancer had spread. She has already begun chemotherapy and is fighting with everything she has. On top of this, she is also managing an autoimmune disease, which makes her healing journey even more complicated. Despite these challenges, Vanessa continues to show incredible courage and resilience every single day.

Doctors have discovered specific biomarkers in Vanessa’s cancer that may help guide treatment. Unfortunately, there are no FDA-approved drugs for her exact type. That means some of her best options may not be covered by insurance.

We are raising funds to help Vanessa:

• Access alternative and natural therapies to strengthen her body during treatment
