The beautiful Valerie Paters passed into the arms of Jesus at 6:48 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. She went peacefully with her family worshipping Jesus by her side. Valerie, more than anyone knew the joy and beauty of heaven. Her book, Heaven is a Breath Away, holds precious meaning in this moment.
A celebration of life will be held after the holidays. Details will follow.
All contributions will be used to pay for medical bills and funeral costs.

Dearest Friends & Family,
Valerie Paters needs our help! On Monday, November 9th, 2020, Valerie received an unexpected diagnosis of Stage 4 liver cancer. She began experiencing weakness, exhaustion and swelling in her leg’s, abdomen, and face. Never did she imagine that these symptoms were related to cancer. She was immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment. The cost of her medical bills is rising and is more than she can bare. She needs your help!
Valerie has had her share of many ups and downs in her life. In 2000 she had been in a horrific car accident when she was hit by three semi-trucks and was placed on life support as they prepared the paper work to harvest her organs. Her family was not given much hope. It has been a long road to her recovery but she pulled through. She is a fighter and has experienced miracle after miracle in her lifetime.

Valerie is a devoted grandmother raising her granddaughter Ariel who is 14.
