Hello friends and family, we are reaching out for your support. Many of you know Ian Harewood as funny, kind, and hardworking. Others will know him as a fish-loving freak. I know him as the best, most sensitive “little brother” (even though he’s over 6 feet).

Ian was diagnosed a few weeks ago with the unimaginable, synovial sarcoma. Synovial sarcoma is a rare, aggressive cancer that affects soft tissue near joints, particularly in the arms, feet, and legs. In his case, a large tumor has formed at the top of his femur. As it stands, his leg would need to be fully amputated from the hip down to remove the tumor. Ian has been attending multiple doctor visits and will be starting his journey with chemotherapy on May 12th. We are hoping with his aggressive treatment ahead, we will literally kick cancer in the ass. With sufficient shrinkage, the tumor can be removed without amputation.

As Ian faces the emotional and physical toll of cancer, he is also faced with the financial burdens. As he starts his long journey ahead, he is faced with medical debt and ongoing living expenses while his ability to work is significantly reduced due to treatments.
