Hello my name is Hunter Somerled, I’m a queer filmmaker based in Naarm.

I’m currently sourcing funds for my next project which is turning my first published poem ‘Faggots’ into a short film. This short film is about being hate crimed in the street, an experience gay men know globally. We will take back the power of the word faggots in this film, by placing it in the mouths of the ones that can use it.
