Many of us hold Suzette Colliard and her daughter Ayan Amina Colliard dear to our hearts, as two special spirits with an unbreakable bond. Witnessing their powerful connection provides some window into the depth of grief that Suzette and her mother are experiencing, at the sudden and tragic loss of Ayan on February 14, 2022. Ayan was 27.
The loss of a child/grandchild is a horror that no person should ever have to bear. It occurs at an already difficult time where Suzette and Ayan were contending with COVID-related isolation, disconnection, and financial hardship. The family and community are surrounding Suzette with as much love and good energy as can be summoned.
We are fundraising to cover the immediate costs of funeral-related expenses as well as longer term expenses, to support Suzette with her grief journey.
All funds raised will go directly to Suzette and be directed to the following costs associated with:

- grief supports (ex. counselling, holistic healing etc.)
- memorial tree/bench

- short term living/moving expenses
Ayan leaves behind her mother Suzette Colliard, Grandma, Aunty, Uncle, cousins and many more extended and chosen family.
