Hello, my name is Yasmine and my boyfriend’s name is Gabriel! Right around Thanksgiving we adopted our little kitten from the shelter, and he was doing great! Hopper is a 6 month old tabby cat who is super cuddly, loves to play and chase around his toys, and most importantly he’s a member of our family. On Tuesday evening both my boyfriend and I arrived home from work in the evening and were concerned because hopper wasn’t able to walk and his eyes were 2 different colors. We rushed him to an emergency vet after finding him like that and being so scared! After endless hours at emergency vets late at night, we have found out hopper has suffered bilateral hip fractures, a pelvic fracture, and a Traumatic Brain Injury. This has required 2 very extensive and expensive orthopedic surgeries. will require pretty extensive and expensive surgeries. We love our kitty boy and we would do anything to give him the best quality of life he can have going forward. We are so thankful that with god’s grace and strength hopper has made it through both surgeries and is to be coming home soon! I know how the story sounds, but we are just as confused as everyone. Both of us owners were at work all day, he is an indoor only cat, no one else has access to our house, and he has no way of getting outside. We love our baby boy and would not be getting him the help he needs if we didn’t feel that way!

Unfortunately, the costs of both surgeries to save our kitty have left us with very expensive and unexpected medical costs. We would sincerely appreciate and be so greatful to anyone who can donate or help us share our story! Every little bit helps, thank you!
