TWO US SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES VETERANS HELP CHURCH! Saturday and Sunday, December 14-15, Two retired US Army Special Forces "Green Berets" Pete Kranenburg 23 years of service, a Combat Veteran of Operation Desert Storm, Operations Northern Watch, Operations Provide Comfort, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Allied Force Balkans, Operations Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom Afghanistan. Andrew Farkas, with 29 years, a Combat Veteran of Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan will be mountain biking across Florida on the Cross Florida Mountain Bike Route to raise funds to purchase a new roof for Great Hope Christian Fellowship Church in Tampa, Fl. CFMBR takes riders from The Atlantic Ocean, starting at New Smyrna Beach to the town of Inglis on the Gulf of Mexico via a mostly off-road route. The total distance is approximately 300 miles.
Great Hope Christian Fellowship Church weathered many storms since it opened its doors in 1963. The Church has re-built the sanctuary and classroom together; we have braved the new millennium scare together; weathered the terrorist attack on our country on September 11th, 2001; have been through some of the worst hurricane seasons in 100 years and some of the coldest, longest winters in over 30 years. The 2007 national financial crisis not only challenged us but also bound us ever closer. We have an outstanding church family and ministry team. And amazingly so, all of the team are military veterans. God surely knows how to lead His "Army." We have grown and shared so much over the past few years
This past August, after doing major renovations of our Fellowship Hall and constructing a full-sized kitchen to support our growing congregation, it was discovered there was water damage in the walls and other critical areas in the Church. After some repairs and a full inspection of our 18 + year old Roof, it has been determined that the Roof has reached its Lifespan.
Let's replace this Roof!
Our two US Army Veterans are asking you to sponsor them by donation per mile or a one-time donation.
For example, A pledge of 50 cents per mile would be $150.00, or a pledge of one dollar would be a $300.00 contribution. If you cannot pledge per mile, a one-time donation of any amount would be a blessing to help us reach our goal of $22,222
If you cannot make a financial donation, we understand. You can still make a difference by donating some of your time by sharing this Go Fund Me page with friends, family, coworkers, or post it on your Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google +, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts. It would be a great goal to be able together to reach out to at least 22,222 people on Social Media, and we would only need a dollar from each person to reach our financial Go Fund Me goal for the Church's new Roof.
Thank you all for helping and supporting the Great Hope Christian Fellowship Church as we boldly go forth to continue in the work of delivering and living the message of salvation in our Church and our community. Fight the good fight with us. Be a bright light on the hill that cannot be hidden and be a part of expanding the influence of God in our community and beyond!
Have a great day!
Very Respectful
