Kitten in Need

Donation protected
Hello! My name is Julia and I am raising money to take care of an injured kitten. This little baby was found hit by a car. I immediately took her to the ER vet where I was asked to take ownership or surrender her.

I decided to take ownership of her for the time being to ensure she gets the love she deserves. At only 8 weeks old, this baby has endured so much from this chilly spring we had. I didn’t want her to spend any time in a cold metal cage. I want to make sure she gets placed in a loving home that will take proper care of her.

I am asking for donations to take care of her ER bills. Any extra money will be used to get her spayed, chipped, have regular vet visits, and all the supplies she needs. Any money left over after that will be donated to the humane society.

Thank you so much for your consideration in helping her!! Any donation amounts help.

Update 06/09/25 3:00 PM
I got back from her ER visit and have her set up in our guest bathroom. She doesn’t seem to have broken bones, but had hemorrhaging to the right of her eye and had a bloody nose. An X-ray was $500, so we opted to wait and see how her condition changes. She has eye drops and pain meds. I was able to stop at the pet store to get her kitten food and shampoo.

She is still sleeping a lot and doesn’t move a ton. She isn’t interested in food yet. I gave her a bath and am checking in on her often. Here is a picture with her resting with a mouse toy. Thank you to all who have donated so far!!

Update 06/10/2025:
We started this morning eating diluted wet food from a syringe. Like a cat food smoothie . Later, we had a thicker “smoothie” and she is learning how to eat from a plate. I’m so thankful she is eating!!

She isn’t moving too much, but I try to get her standing and repositioned every now and then. Her nose is still inflamed and I can tell it’s hard for her to breathe. She also has some sneezing. I still haven’t seen her use the bathroom so some concerns there.
Today was about food, water, and rest! Tomorrow, we will go to Family Companion Urgent Care to get a check out some of the concerns I have.

Update 06/11/2025
Hi everyone! This is *hopefully* the last update. She started off the morning absolutely devouring her breakfast. She had a slow start due to being on lots of gabapentin. She had her vet appointment and got on some antibiotics. I am praying that with this medication medley, we will start to see her personality soon. She got dropped off at her foster family tonight and had her first bursts of energy when meeting them ❤️. Little kitty is on the mend. This rescue wouldn’t have been possible without all your generous donations and shares. To be able to schedule her care without worry is truly a blessing. We are so thankful for each and every one of you.
