YWAM Urban Key London

This October, God is sending me on mission to London through Youth With A Mission (YWAM) for just under six months! This program is split into two major sections: discipleship and outreach. The first three months of the program will be a Discipleship Training School (DTS). This will look like daily sermon-based teachings, times of intercession and worship, small groups, team projects, book reports, and evangelism opportunities. On top of that, I will be helping a team build a cafe in the heart of northwest London. Through this process, there will also be seminars on hospitality and hosting and some fun culinary and barista workshops. This cafe will become a home away from home, a reflection of God’s love, and ultimately a place to pour cups of coffee and pour into the community.

The second session will be outreach where I will take the things I learned in the lecture phase and travel to work with local churches and ministries in different locations. These locations have not been determined yet, but part of the outreach will take place in countries in the UK, while the majority of outreach will take place somewhere else. These locations will be determined as a team through extensive prayer to see where God is calling us in that season. Wherever we go, we will be working alongside churches or other YWAM bases to bless that city or community through service projects, putting on events for families, working with the homeless or refugees, running small groups/youth groups, preaching in churches, and sharing the gospel.

The biggest blessing you can provide would be to include my team and me in your prayers. I am truly looking forward to seeing how God will use us in this season and how He will prepare me through this program for my life in Boston. To make this trip possible, I need to raise $7000 by this September, which will cover the cost of my transportation, three meals a day, housing, and the program’s tuition.
