In 2009, after the tsunami hit Samoa, a truck was given to YWAM Samoa to help serve people in a time of need.
Since that day, this truck has carried more than just people.
It has carried food, supplies, teams, and hope.
For years, it has been part of everything we do—
bringing outreach teams into villages, helping churches, serving families after cyclones, picking up students, and supporting mission work all across Samoa.
This truck has served faithfully.
But now… it’s tired.
It breaks down often, struggles to carry loads, and we know it won’t last much longer. And the truth is, without a truck, our work becomes very limited.
We are not a business.
We are a missions base.
Everything we do is to serve people, share the Gospel, and reach communities—not just in Samoa, but across the Pacific.
Right now, we are believing God for a new Dyna truck.
The total cost is $165,000 WST, and we know that is a big amount. But we also believe that if many people give a little, we can reach this goal together.
To be fully transparent:
YWAM Samoa is currently unable to receive international transfers, so all funds will be received and managed by David Faapouli on behalf of YWAM Samoa and used fully for this truck.
This is not just about buying a vehicle.
This is about continuing the mission.
This is about reaching people.
This is about making sure we can keep going.
If you feel led to give, even a small amount, it will truly make a difference.
And if you can’t give, you can still help by sharing this with others.
From our team here in Samoa thank you.
Fa’afetai tele lava for standing with us.
