            Hi Family & Friends!

As I am sitting here writing this, I have a few tears down my face looking back at the last year of my life and processing how much the Lord has done in my heart! To say I am blessed is an understatement. “The Lord stood with me and gave me strength.” -2 Timothy 4:17. Thank you, God, for choosing me and pursuing me daily. Throughout this season, God has stripped me of literally ALL of my comfort until I felt that I had nothing left, but at the same time, every inch of my heart and being was full and satisfied. Only God can do that!

In November, I attended a conference in Orlando, Florida, called “Jesus Image ’20.” YOU GUYS. Talk about God totally captivating my heart and running with it. This conference was filled with amazing bible teachers, prayer, and a lot of worship with thousands of other Christians. INCREDIBLE to say the least! On the plane ride home, I couldn’t help but tell myself, “I just want more. More of Jesus.” I wasn’t quite sure what exactly that would look like so I spent months praying. When April came around, I felt God start to tell me, “GO!” I know that in this next season of my life I am called to GO, GO and advance the Kingdom. Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!” -Isaiah 6:8.

The Lord is good! SOOOO, a little life update: I recently got accepted to YWAM. YWAM is a Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Kona, Hawaii. It is a program that’s purpose is to make Christ known among the nations. YWAM focuses on equipping young people to be able to go out and share the love of Jesus and the truth of God’s word to all nations while knowing Him and making Him known. This will be about a six-month journey! I will be leaving for Kona this fall, September 30th, and will be coming home, back to Omaha, March 12th, 2022. The first three months of this journey will be spent at YWAM’s base in Kona going to school. Then followed by three months of mission work in another country for my “outreach” phase of YWAM. (I won’t know this exact location until sometime in October, but I will certainly keep you all updated :) PROMISE). During the outreach phase, I will be taking what I learned during DTS and GOING and being the hands and feet of Jesus. I will be taking what I learned during DTS and GOING to the ends of the earth for love. When applying to YWAM, you are asked to choose a “track” that best suits you and where you feel called to. The track that you choose will be the group with who you spend most of your time on this journey. After a lot of prayer and research about the different tracks that YWAM Kona has to offer, I knew I had to choose a track called “Compassion Ablaze.” Compassion Ablaze is a track that’s mission is to reach those who feel that they don’t have a voice, through acts of mercy. SO, orphans, single mothers, the homeless, those struggling with life addictions, and those who have been sexually abused, trafficked, or enslaved. This is where my heart is!

I am so stoked for this next season of my life!!! There are many emotions. As excited as I am, I am also nervous and sad. For those of you who know me well, you know how much my family means to me. They are really my everything! So as you could imagine, I am super emotional about leaving them...and it is only May, but I know by being gone, I will appreciate and value each of them that much more (side note: I went to college 20 minutes from my family if that says anything :)). I am going to miss my family, friends, my sweet niece especially (don’t ask how many times I have cried over leaving her already HA, she is a perfect little peanut that has my heart completely. She is growing and learning new things each day...MY HEART), my church, my gym, and Omaha dearly, BUT I will be back in March... it will be a short six months!

Finally, in order to be able to go to YWAM, I am expected to fundraise a good amount of money. As scary as it seems, I know that my God will provide and come through – He always does! If you would like to partner with me, below are a few ways that you can!

1: I would like to first ask for prayer!!! Prayer is so powerful and I would LOVE & appreciate your prayers throughout this next adventure in my life.

2: If you feel led to help support me on my YWAM journey, I would be over the moon grateful! I need to raise $13,000 to be fully funded for ALL six months. This money will go towards my tuition, my outreach phase, my flights, and other miscellaneous items needed along the way. I have from now until the beginning of September to raise this money! THANK YOU x100000000 in advance, if you feel led to support me!

-Here is my Venmo if you would like to support me that way. Otherwise, I am putting my address below to where you can send cash or checks.

-Venmo: maddiemeads4

-Address: 21418 Fieldcrest Drive

THANK YOU all from the bottom of my heart for first of all just loving me. Secondly, for any prayer and/or financial support that I may be receiving from you. I know this next season that I am stepping into is beyond what I can fathom and I can’t wait to see the fruit that comes from it!

-“Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the water, wherever you would call me. Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander, and my faith will be made stronger, in the presence of my Savior.”

-“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned to me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” –Acts 20:24

Jesus, I pray for a heart that is always in awe of you.

GOD BLESS!

XOXO,
Maddie
