YWAM Kona Hawaii Kokua Crew Volunteer Experience

I am now 31 years old, I completed a Bachelors degree in Social Welfare 2020, and 2021 I worked almost one years as a case manager for young adults who experienced a spectrum of homeless situations, 2021-2023 I have been holding it down washing dishes at a nice restaurant, 2023- and beyond has its new projections and horizons...

I am fundraising in hopes to attend the opportunity of serving as a volunteer on a Large YWAM mission base and school in Kona Hawaii. This opportunity may lead to attending a discipleship school, missions outreach, it may lead to moving to Hawaii permenantly.

This season/almost 2 years in my life I was allowed to live on low income wages and work a respectful challenging job washing dishes in Tacoma Washington. I have learned so much living and working in high crime rate areas. I felt called by God to lowincome lifestyle and community. I have learned, loved, advocated for so much with my time here it has been a gift.

This next season I anticipate leaving Tacoma permenantly and discovering new horizons the rich environment of Kona Hawaii YWAM base. You would be supporting this opportunity and experience to enter a new community. Multiple people I respect have suggested this transition and I am hoping for Gods blessing and favor, I initially resisted because I felt called to front lilnes of advocating and demonstrating love within the Tacoma city limits but it may be time to transition to new territory and growth... Sooo

I am aiming to be in Hawaii July 26th 2023- October 10th 2023 or beyond!

$900 program costs ( They cover housing and food breakfast lunch and dinner)

$500 travel costs (flights are cheap right now about $250 there, $250 back)

$1500 Tacoma Apartment costs ($477 x three months)

$1500 Extra Spending costs (possible exploring, excess needs, travel aorund the island, clothing, no worries)
