Your help is urgently needed to provide temporary financial assistance to the Mike & Shari Reiser Family to meet their day-to-day expenses while Mike recovers from abdominal surgery.  On July 29th, Mike was taken by ambulance and admitted to Kingston Hospital with a severe case of Sepsis, perforated colon and Diverticulitis.  He has since had 12 inches of his intestine removed, is on a colostomy and is just beginning to eat a fluid diet.  He is expected to return home in the next several days where he will recover from his surgery. In about 2 months, he will again return to the hospital to reverse the colostomy.  He will need another couple months to recover.  Due to the nature of Mike’s maintenance work, if he is not working, he is not paid. Shari continues to work but cannot make ends meet on her own. Your contributions will help Mike and Shari meet their daily living costs and pay any expenses not covered by their insurance.
