I am Cindy, my 15 year old granddaughter Karma was rushed to the hospital on July 3rď, 2020 in critical condition. She has been in PICU 38 days and was recently diagnosed with SLE Lupus a chronic autoimmune disease that attacks the joints, blood cells, kidneys, heart and lungs and Discoid Lupus which attacks the skin. In Karmas case she is going through all of it!! Karma may be good one day and on a ventilator  the next. She has failing kidneys, her lungs have collapsed more than once, she shrieks in pain because you've touched her skin, she can't move by herself and because of the ventilator she can't  speak. Chandra aka "Jakkey Chan" to some of you, has been by Karmas side day and night with a few breaks for herself.  She doesn't have a job because she needs to devote her time to Karma and her rehab,  because once they finally get everything balanced out Karma has a long journey ahead of her with learning to move and walk and also learning to cope with something that is totally new to her and during this time Chandra doesn't need to be worried about things either other than helping Karma as much as she can to get better! So this to help my granddaughter and my daughter's lives just a little bit easier. Thank you!
