Hello, my name is Nas, and I am reaching out with a humble and hopeful heart to ask for your support for my dear friend, Gary.

Two days ago, Gary suffered a heart attack while he was swimming alone in a pool in Thailand. By the grace of God, help arrived in time and he was rushed to the hospital. We are so incredibly thankful that he survived. It truly feels like a miracle that he is still with us today.

Gary is retired and lives alone in Thailand. He has no medical insurance, and now faces an overwhelming hospital bill of £39,000 for the heart surgery that saved his life. As you can imagine, this is an impossible amount for him to manage on his own.

I have never done anything like this before, and asking for help does not come easily. But when someone you care about is in need, you find the courage to try. I am deeply grateful to my friend Shirley, who told me about this website and encouraged me to set up this fundraiser. I had no idea where to turn, but I am so thankful that platforms like this exist — and that there are kind and generous people in the world willing to help others in their darkest moments.
