Medical Expenses

My name is Jacob Disney, I have created this gofundme for myself.
For the past six year’s now, I’ve been fighting a deadly autoimmune disease called Primary Biliary Cholangitis.
It has taken every ounce of my strength to fight this, and it has made it difficult for me to lead a normal life.
I have tried every medical avenue to cope, but sadly, I now must resort to a liver transplant. The liver transplant that will be done is going to be held in Nashville TN, and so I have set up this gofundme page to help offset some of the expenses that my family will incur throughout this process.

Although some of the costs of the transplant are covered by insurance, there are many expenses that we will incur, including relocation and travel expenses as well as accommodations for my family to be accessible to the transplant center in Nashville.
After surgery, I will be expected to stay in Nashville for close monitoring to ensure the transplant is not rejected. This part of the process will also not be covered by insurance.
Other potential expenses include anti-rejection medications and long term follow-up medical care after receiving the transplant.
