Support Sam's Fight Against Cancer

Hi, I'm Sam. I live with my spouse and our three fur children. I enjoy building and creating things with my bare hands.

Late last year I ended up in the hospital for kidney stones. When they did a cat scan, they discovered a mass on one of my ovaries. In January of this year, I had surgery to remove the mass along with most of my reproductive organs, leaving behind one ovary. The mass was tested, as well as some cells from my abdomen, and it was discovered that I have two types of cancer, ovarian and clear cell. Thankfully it was caught early, but I'm now going through chemo therapy to take care of any other cancer cells that may be lingering.

While most days I'm doing alright, there are other days I am completely exhausted. I've already ended up back in the hospital once since starting chemo. Because of the exhaustion as I fight through this, I can't work as much as I usually do. Unfortunately, having cancer doesn't stop the bills from coming in. It actually adds to them.

If you know me, you know I'm stubborn and not one to ask for help. But while it's hard, I know that sometimes you need to ask for help and accept it. That's why I'm creating this gofundme, to help me and my family get through these rough times without having to worry if we can pay the electric bill or not.
