Our dear friend and brother, Michael, is in the fight of his life. He was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, and despite his incredible strength and determination, the journey has been far from easy.

He has already gone through a year of chemotherapy, doing everything he can to battle this disease. Now, doctors are recommending a major 24-hour surgery, which involves removing his entire rectum, part of his pelvis, rerouting major arteries, and so much more. This could leave him permanently disabled. After much thought and prayer, Michael has decided to pursue a less invasive alternative treatment plan that gives him hope for a better quality of life — and a real chance at more time with his loved ones.

Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance and comes at a cost of over $25,000. This financial burden is overwhelming, especially as he continues to fight every day to stay strong and positive.
