I have an opportunity to join the ministry team of Randy Clark and Global Awakening, in Nigeria, to train leaders and pastors in one of the world's largest Christian denominations. The trip is September 16th thru 23rd, 2015 and is at the invitation of The Redeemed Church of God in Lagos, Nigeria. This church has 5,000 pastors and 4 million members in one congregation! This is not my first trip with Global Awakening. In 2012, my wife Dorothy and I were a part of Randy's ministry team in Brazil. While there, Dorothy and I prayed for Sylvianna, a Brazilian who suffered with migraines. Sylvianna also had rod in her neck making it impossible for her to turn her head from side to side or lift her hands above her head. Not only did God heal the migraines but she was also able to move her head back and forth and lift her hands above her head! During those two weeks God healed 4,500 people!
Dorothy and I continue to see God heal the people we minister to in our local area, both at Grace Community Church and in the community outreaches.
In Highlands (Bibb City, GA), we were on an outreach and met Maurice, a man who had a hernia protruding from his side. My team, which included a 13 year old girl, and I put our hands on Maurices hernia and as we prayed the hernia disappeared! A young woman standing near us had been suffering with a toothache for 1 month and needed to have it pulled. We prayed for her tooth and the pain disappeared. She is still pain after three months!
I am excited to see what God will be doing in Lagos!
