Yvonne Parshall's Cancer Treatment
My mother Yvonne Parshall has lived a life of giving caring and helping. She is responsible for so many changes in peoples lives after hers was blessed with the strength of sobriety. She goes out of her way to help anyone and do for everyone. She has been a caregiver for the last 5years and has a caregiving company she is no longer able to run due to her health. She opened her home to a friend who was diagnosed with cancer and cared for him with no financial support for a whole year. She has sang at the timberline church, provided and volunterred at the Open Door Mission and daily giving tasks and duties to help anyone and everyone. She recently held a Fundraiser Yard Sale for the Martinez Family in North Fort Collins when there was a tragic accident that took the life of a father, two sons and left the mother holding her lifeless baby searching for the rest of her family in the rummage of the car accident. My mom jumped to start a fundraiser on FB and purchased a storage unit, held a weekend fundraiser at her home and raised over $1800 for the family and tons of kind notes and prayers to the mother who needed so many kind words. My mother reached out to the news to get the word out to help the Martinez's in thier time of need. If there is anyone needing a ride she will take them, if someone needs their house cleaned shes there, if anyone needs help with money she does what she can like pawning her rings or valuble things so that others are better off. There was a time where a young mom at Sprint who had been charged about $50 more and was distraught about her tight financial situation. Of course my angel hearted mother jumped to comfort her and offered to lend her the money. She couldn't afford to pay anyone back so my mom said here... so i am asking for help in my moms time of need.
I am calling on the good people in the world who have had the chance given to them and wants to pay it forward. We are real people and My mom is a real mother of three, grandmother of 7 (twins on the way makes 9) and personal business owner of a c was dianosed with Carcinoid from her husband, who was her primary support, due to the constant doctor appointments, procedures and late nights . She has been selling her personal items to keep lights going and recently applied for food assistance. However an emergent procedure is due in Louisianna to hopefully eliminate the tumors/polyps from reforming by removing the gland. This would also eliminate the need for surgery every six months for tumor removal. There isnt a facillity in Colorado that will do the surgery due to the severity, let alone with the 95% success rate of the Louisanna hospital. My mom has pain all over her from her stomache to chest to head, and the cancer is spreading as explained in this link/video www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tQCUB2fqBw. She is meeting the doctor in Louisianna on June 16th and needs funds for the trip (airfare, food, hotel and transportation). Our local Applebee's is having a fundraiser flapjack breakfast on June 13th tickets are $10 each to hopefully help with this first trip because shorlty after the pre-operation on the 14th she will need to go longer for the surgery. Which has been closed since August and we want to help her reopen and continue to do what she loves after her treatment. After her fight is won! That's all she wants is to return to helping others and having a purpose. Her kids are grown and husband left, she has her home and wants to live her life to help others, so please help her. Help her get to Lousianna, have surgery and get home. I know shes a deserving person of your help. NO SCAMS. I have moved my family of five to Loveland to help my mom because no one deserves to fight the fight against cancer alone and someone as deserving of so much for all she has done for everyone and anyone should never have to go through the stress she has in the last six months. She shouldnt have to suffer through a financial crisis when she needs to focus on her health. Please find it in your heart to help my mom with getting her treatment completed so that she may contiune to be the angelic caregiver, mom, grandmother and friend she has strived to be. Help her see the good in the fight and how many people appreciate her generosity over the years she was healthy and giving. She has so much fght in her and some days are harder because of the financial burdens.
The awareness ribbon is Zebra print and my moms new favorite visual inspiration!
-Carcinoid tumors are one of cancer’s oddities. “They’re a real zebra, says Renuka Iyer, MD, assistant professor, department of medicine at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (716-845-3099). “They grow slowly, but they do metastasize, they do cause endocrine problems, bowel obstruction, liver failure and death. However, we can treat them effectively and patients can enjoy very long periods of cancer-free or progression-free survival; if found early even cure them.”
We will get her through this and I know she so strong amazing and willing to live and with our support and support from others she will win this fight!!
Please contact me if you have any questions or comments, even a prayer :) God Bless.
